"September" is a song by the band Earth, Wind & Fire released as a single in 1978 on ARC/Columbia Records. The song was written by Allee Willis together with Maurice White and Al McKay from Earth, Wind & Fire. Willis said in an interview with Songfacts that the "21st night of September" in the opening lyrics of September, isn't a significant date, "it's just something that sang really well." English Lyrics
Do you rememberThe 21st night of September?Love was changin' the minds of pretendersWhile chasin' the clouds away
Our hearts were ringin'In the key that our souls were singin'As we danced in the night, rememberHow the stars stole the night away, oh, yeah
Hey, hey, heyBa-dee-ya, say, do you remember?Ba-dee-ya, dancin' in SeptemberBa-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day
Ba-du-da, ba-du-da, ba-du-da, ba-duBa-du-da, ba-du, ba-du-da, ba-duBa-du-da, ba-du, ba-du-da
My thoughts are with youHoldin' hands with your heart to see youOnly blue talk and love, rememberHow we knew love was here to stay
Now DecemberFound the love that we shared in SeptemberOnly blue talk and love, rememberThe true love we share today

Spanish Lyrics
Yow
Había unBa-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), ¿te acuerdas?Ba-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), bailando en septiembre.Ba-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), nunca hubo un día nublado.Y diremosBa-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), ¿te acuerdas?Ba-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), bailando en septiembre.Ba-dee-ya (dee-ya, dee-ya), los sueños dorados eran días brillantes.
